After a visit to England Juliette Low was so enthusiastic about the Boy Scout movement there that she set about organizing a similar movement for girls. She gave her first ''Girl Scout'' party at her home on March 12, 1912, and Daisy Low, then 11, was the first to sign the new membership register. Also includes a lovely full page photograph of Juliette Low taken shortly after her marriage.
